``Art is a line around your thoughts.``

Art
Another form of self-discovery is the expression through art. It is my meditation and my therapy. During the process of painting I try to visualise my feelings, most of them unknown to me before I bring them out on canvas. I talk to myself and more importantly: I listen. I pay attention to what comes up and let my hands be guided by what feels true to me in the moment. I consciously feel through every brushstroke. Every piece is a snapshot of my inner world.
My hope is that others might recognise something of themselves in these paintings and can connect it to their own journey.
So much joy and insight has come through this process. I encourage everyone to try it out for themselves and open to the artist within.

Artistic Fashion From Nature
“Fast fashion isn’t free. Someone somewhere is paying.”
The environmental impact of the fashion industry has effected me deeply and I am inspired to spark the change in the industry that will change attitudes all over the world.
I strongly believe that sustainable fashion and textile recycling is what will save our oceans, forests, and futures.
I’m passionate about sustainable fashion and fashion made of natural resources and recycle materials without conceding on style or creativity. By using recycled materials I’m inspired by nature to create pieces that invite people to look further at fashion and beyond the latest fashion trends and cliches.
Only through educating consumers, can we truly impact change. Lifting the vale on the industry’s environmental impact can give the consumer the choice that demands the much needed change. Consumer and brands can join forces to reduce the environmental damage that this industry is currently creating and produce clothing that lessens the environmental impact.
“Our biggest challenge in this new century is to take an idea that seems abstract – sustainable development – and turn it into a reality for all the world’s people.”
Did you know that the fashion industry is the second most polluting industry in the world? And as the industry grows, the environmental damage is just increasing. The fashion industry is a huge water consumer. Up to 20,000 liters of water are used to produce 1kg of cotton (1 T-shirt and jeans). But at the same time, 750 million people in the world don’t have access to drinking water at all.
Clothing has clearly become too disposable. 5,2 % of the waste thrown out every day are textiles. 72 % of our clothing is made out of synthetic fibers, that takes way more than 100 years to decompose, once it’s thrown out.
Chemicals are one of the main components of our clothes. Even a “100% natural” fabric consists of 27% chemicals. The global fashion industry is generating a lot of greenhouse gases. The cause of that is the energy used during the clothing production, manufacturing, and transportation to stores worldwide. 400% more carbon emissions are produced if we wear a garment 5 times instead of 50 times. The fashion industry plays major part in degrading soil. It’s done by using enormous amounts of chemicals for growing cotton, overgrazing of pastures through cashmere goats and sheep raised purely for the wool production. Fashion causes deforestation. Every year, thousands of hectares of forests, jungle, and rainforests are cut down and replaced by plantations of trees used to make wood-based fabrics such as rayon or viscose.

Artistic Fashion From Recycle Material
Why is recycle and nature material fashion important to me?
Last 10 years I was very close to fashion industry. I saw the damage that’s been done to nature. Since nature is the most beautiful free miracle that we have in the world, we must appreciate and protect it.
I strongly believe that the sustainable fashion industry and textile recycling is the future that will save our oceans, forests, and nature from unnecessary pollution.
However, it will only work if the consumers, as well as the fashion industry workers, will join forces to reduce the environmental damage that this industry is currently creating and produce clothing only from green materials. I’m creating clothing out of recycling materials as well as materials from nature, to inspire people around me to look at fashion beyond the latest fashion clichés.
